Machu Picchu means Old Mountain, and was declared one of the Seven Wonders of the World Machu Picchu. This spectacular Santuary was building built mostly in the mid-fifteenth century and is considered a masterpiece of architecture and engineering.

Machu Picchu is on the List of World Heritage of UNESCO since 1983, as part of a whole cultural and ecological well-known under the name Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

Machupicchu

We begin our tour with the pick up very early from the hotels. We board the train to Aguas Calientes. The trip takes approx. 3 ½ hrs. During the journey we will observe a variety of natural landscapes to appreciate all the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu climb (2225 meters) and have a guided tour of approx. 2 ½ hrs. Then we will have free time to take pictures and other activities. Then begin to descend to Aguas Calientes and return to Cusco.

Type of Trains

We have three kind of train. It changes according to the Price.

1.- Backpacker  train:

Designed exclusively for travelers with adventurous spirit but at the same time want comfort and safety. The Backpacker has remodeled their seats with tapestries with Inca motifs, giving a very local and indigenous touch and the convenience of having ample space for your backpacks.

2.- Vistadome Train:

The quickest and easiest way to visit Machu Picchu. On the trip, you can enjoy delicious snacks and hot and cold drinks. Recently refurbished cars, which are equipped with panoramic windows that allow you to enjoy a spectacular view and take wonderful pictures.

3.- Hiram Bingham train:

It has two passenger cars, a bar car and a kitchen car. The car design is exquisite and luxurious, extra tables about 3 meters wide and comfortable seats longer than 30 cm wider than others in the same way, These cars are among the most spacious and comfortable in the world.

If you want to Visist Machupicchu for 2 days, you just need to add hotel at the reservation.
