Choquequirao is Quechua word meaning "Cradle of Gold" is known as Machu Picchu's Sacred Sister by structural similarity and architecture. Choquekirao was an Inca city on the same scale as Machu Picchu with scattered and fascinating sectors.
Choquequirao complex consists of nine sectors, most notably the political and religious center, the system of sources and channels of aqueducts, and the group covers.

Cusco - Rosalinas

Day 02Puente Rosalinas – Sunchupata
The second day after breakfast we head to our next camp, Sunchupata. Along the way observe climate change and vegetation, climb to 2,900 meters above sea level and have lunch at Maranpata.
Day 03Sunchupata - Choquequirao - Sunchupata
After breakfast we begin a walk of 4 to 5 hours to reach Choquekirao where we have a lunch and we can enjoy the rest of the day off the impressive archaeological site, then return to our camp Sunchupata to spend a Third night.
Day 04Sunchupata - Cachora - Cusco
Perform the same route back to Cachora, where we wait for a bus to take us back to Cusco.
